We run the Newcastle centre as a very close team. We see each child as an individual and care greatly about both their educational development and them as a person.

Classes
Standard Membership:

Up to two sessions per week
Mapped to the National Curriculum
A maths and English course created for your child's individual needs
Parent feedback at the end of every session
Regular, in-depth parents conferences to discuss your child's progress
No booking required - attend any time during our opening hours
Regular Open Sessions for families
Regular specialist maths and English workshops during the school holidays

We also run four specialised classes that focus on particular areas of learning:

11+ Entrance exam prep (Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm) - maths, verbal reasoning and English paper preparation and practice tailored to local schools

Enrichment Maths (Wednesdays 5-6pm) - Designed for us, in conjunction with Nrich, for gifted and talented mathematicians

Succeed in Secondary (Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm) - practicing key secondary level skills like debate, research, presentation and team work.

Explore Writing (Thursdays 7-8pm) - for reluctant writers and budding authors alike, this course develops core language skills and imagination for fiction and non fiction writing.

These courses are subject to an additional charge.

Ages and Levels Covered
For children of all levels and abilities, aged 5 to 14yrs (reception to year 9)

Opening Times
Our centre is open 7 days a week. Members do not book sessions in advance and they can use the centre any day, at any time during our opening hours.Tuition sessions last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Wednesday 3-8pm (EM 5 - 6pm, SIS 6.30-7.30pm)
Thursday 3-7pm (Explore Writing 7-8pm)

Sunday 10am-4pm

Tuition Fees
Our standard membership is £89 per month (sibling discounts available). If you are eligable for Childcare Vouchers, Working Tax Credits or Income Support, you may be able to save some money on your Explore Learning membership. Please speak to one of our tutors to discuss these options.
