Classes
Kumon provide individualised maths and English programmes. Attendance at class is on on a 'drop-in' basis during class times as each child works on their own individual development plan. Children take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject and attend class once or twice a week.

Ages and Levels Covered
Kumon Arnos Grove Study Centre attracts children age 4 to A'Level students.
Students work under close supervision initially to settle into their new routine and receive guidance to help establish their new study skills. The time spent in class is invaluable in understanding a child's need and how best to support and develop them. The observation time ensures work set can be individualised by the instructor to support their development and maximise their potential.
Students receive feedback during class for personal achievements and good attitude but are also able to take responsibility for their own learning by being able to discuss their own development and goals where appropriate. At the end of class children collect the reward stickers and book token on completion of their record card.
We encourage all students to participate in competitions and quizzes throughout the year, including the holiday Quests and prize winners are announced in our newsletter.
Award ceremonies take place twice a year to recognise the progress of students. Certificates are awarded to students working at a higher level than their peers and those who have made significant progress in their study skills. These award ceremonies are just one of a number of ways that we recognise student achievement and encourage motivation throughout the programme and to completion.

Tuesday: 3.30pm to 5.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am to11.30am
Attendance one or twice a week for a period of approximately 20-30 minutes per subject.
