Welcome to the Kumon Chingford Study Centre! Our aims are not just to prepare children for passing an exam or catching up with schoolwork. We aim to nurture confident, independent learners who will be prepared to meet challenges in school and beyond.

Classes
Our unique programmes complement the UK school curriculum and cater for your child's individual needs, allowing them to study at a rate that is just right for them and eventually to take responsibility for their own learning. The Kumon programmes have been developed over the last 50 years by dedicated instructional teams working across four continents. Content is revised and honed by academics and professionals with postgraduate qualifications in maths and English.

Ages and Levels Covered
Kumon is suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

Opening Times
Mondays: 4.30pm-6.30pm
Thursdays: 4pm-6pm
Students are usually in class for approximately 30 mins per subject

Tuition Fees
Registration Fee: £25
Monthly fee, one subject: £55
Monthly fee, both subjects: £95
A deposit equivalent to one month's fees is required at registration

Meet the Instructor: Helene Anderson
A former award-winning journalist, web developer and preschool drama teacher, Helene Anderson moved to London from New Zealand in 2001 and has been instructor of the Kumon centre in Chingford since 2004. With three school-age daughters of her own, Helene has also been a school governor since 2008 and is commited to ensuring all children have the opportunity to fulfil their educational needs. She is passionate about all aspects of education and keeps fully informed on educational issues and standards in the UK and worldwide.

With Kumon study your child will work at a pace that is tailored to their individual needs; develop invaluable study skills and concentration; establish a positive attitude to study. Kumon's long-term focus provides students with the self-assurance and the transferable self-learning skills to realise their potential throughout school and life.

Directions
The Kumon Chingford Maths and English centre is located on the corner of Chingford Mount Rd and Larkswood Rd, on the ground floor of Libro Court. On street parking is available.
