Welcome to the Syston Kumon study centre in Leicester, which provides maths and English programmes for students of all ages and abilities. The centre opened in February 2011 and we welcome students of all ages and abilities.

Classes
Both Maths and English Programmes of Study are available.

With Kumon study your child will:

work at a pace that is tailored to their individual needs
develop invaluable study skills and concentration
establish a positive attitude to study

Kumon's long-term focus provides children with the self-assurance and the transferable self-learning skills to realise their potential throughout school and life.

Ages and Levels Covered
All ages are covered by the Kumon Method, including pre-school up to A-level standard work.

As well as focusing on developing the child's academic, English and Maths skills, we place great emphasis on developing the child's ABILITY.
Ability includes:
• Working with focus and concentration
• Increased confidence to face new challenges
• Studying independently and developing their own self-learning skills
• Persevere to learn new concepts and find solutions to their problems.
These are all valuable and essential life skills which will help the child to achieve with great success, not only in school but in their future and well into their adult lives.
Finally we would like to emphasize that Kumon has a long term focus, where children normally stay and study at the Syston Centre for a few years, so they can truly appreciate the value of the programme as they realise their potential.

Directions
We can be found off Melton Road that runs through Syston. Broad Street is a one-way street, with the hall half way down on your left. Please proceed to the car park signposted for Hall Users only.

The Hall is large enough to cater very comfortably for all students and the extensive car park and friendly waiting area make Kumon visits fun and relaxing for all concerned. It is our aim that the Syston Kumon study centre will become an essential part of the community as more and more families experience the positive effects of just a small amount of study, at exactly the right level, each day.
