Welcome to the tutor page for the Thorpe Bay Kumon Study Centre. With Kumon study your child will work at a pace that is tailored to their individual need, develop good concentration as well as establishing a positive attitude to study.

Classes
Kumon is a self learning programme and children are encouraged to study independently. Help is always on hand if required. Young students work with an assistant whilst learning to recognise sounds, words, numbers and number patterns. The Kumon programmes were written to encourage children of primary school age to study at secondary school level. It is amazing to witness what can be achieved when there are no limits to learning.

Ages and Levels Covered
Kumon maths and English is for children of any age and any level of ability. I have had 3 students in my centre , each of whom has been placed 1st in the 11+ exam in different years. We also cater for children who find academic study challenging. Kumon's long term focus provides children with self-assurance and the transferable self-learning skills to realise their potential throughout school and life.
