Kumon is a unique method which aims to give each and every child lifetime skills by focusing on the vital subjects of maths and English.

Classes
The centre is open for three days and students attend the class once or twice a week between the stipulated hours. There is a standard routine in place within the centre and a new student is guided around the classroom by one of the classroom assistants. The whole class is divided into areas for different levels for maths and English. On each table there is an Assistant to guide and support the students' in their class work. There are supplementary activities, along with normal work. Oral reading for English and oral mental maths for maths students.

Instructor and assistants are always in the class ready to guide and motivate the students in their work. Students are awarded stickers for each work completed, timed, marked and corrected. When sticker cards are completed, they can be exchanged for prizes.

Younger students on the early levels of Kumon will be looked after by the Assistant or the Instructor, while working. Eventually, they become independent, and thus will start working on their own. Feedback and motivation and communication and commitment are very important at Woodley centre.

Ages and Levels Covered
Kumon is proud to be associated with the Woodley Town in helping children of the age group 3-16 years to sharpen their skills in English and maths. We are located at the Woodley Leisure Centre which offers a quiet location to conduct the classes.

Monday: 3:45pm to 5:45pm
Wednesday; 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 11:30am

One Subject: £55 per month per student
Dual Subjects: £110 per month per student
