VERBAL REASONING PRACTICE TEST: TIME ALLOWED: 1 hour

Instructions: Write in pencil. Work quickly. You need not do them in the order set. If you make a mistake, rub it out and write your new answer clearly. If you finish early, check through to make sure you haven’t missed any out.

 

A. Choose one word from the group on the left, which is similar in meaning to one of the words in the group on the right. Underline those two words. Look at the example to help you. E.g. heat, cook, stir               chimney, warm, oven
