Most problems with Maths can be traced back to confidence issues.  Children can learn techniques for working out puzzles, but encouragement and positive experiences are hugely important.

This book, 'Key Stage 2/3 Numeracy Games: Maths Activities and Games for Ages 5-14: Jumpstart!', encourages learning Maths through play and interaction with others.  The games are differentiated and grouped into the Numeracy Strategy Areas of Study.  The final chapter covers ICT Tips and Hints for Microsoft and Excel, equipping your child for future cross-curricular learning.
