The following are ideas to help your children improve their English.
Reading is the key to success.
Students need to read daily and to encourage them to do so students need to find authors and topics that interest them. Ideas to get your children reading:
- visit the library twice a month for students to choose their books including audio tapes (fiction and non-fiction)
- read the sports pages of the newspaper
- read to parents, grandparents, siblings
Play scrabble and encourage children to use a dictionary and thesaurus.
Write a diary.
