On the face of it tutoring for the Kent Test is all about creating the right environment and working on a one to one basis in order to give children the best chance of achieving their full potential. Most children will attend once a week rising to twice weekly over the summer before the exam.
However, as with most things that are worthwhile, it is often not that that simple, and many children will also need to do some extra practice at home, particularly in the latter stages. The amount of work required will vary between students, but this will inevitably mean some help from mum and dad, even if it's just the encouragement to sit down and get started.
I have found often the best way for children of this age to practice what they have learned is online and a good website for this is www.chuckra.co.uk.
