A-level Biology

I'm going to talk you through something I get all my tutees to do, which can be an invaluable resource when it come to learning a topic and also for revision.

Every time you learn about a topic (for example enzymes) take an A4 sheet and fill it with as many equations, diagrams and relevant bits of information that you possibly can. Leave out all the stuff you'll never use and only put down information that's relevant.

The reasons these sheets are so valuable are as so:

  1. You determine for yourself what you know/don't know about topics when doing the sheets.
  2. When done they offer an easy reference point when a bit of information slips your mind.
  3. When you look up that bit of information you subconsciously take in the rest of the page.

Design them in a way that best suits your learning and update them when you need to.
