A-level Chemistry

I have been a popular Science teacher for over 30 years and in that time have seen many changes to the teaching curriculum. I have run two very successful Chemistry departments in Essex and have a good working knowledge of my subject.

Most of the current A-level courses have dedicated text books to cover the syllabus and my job as a tutor is to help pupils who are experiencing difficulties with the parts of the course they do not understand.

I have been a private tutor for the last twelve years and  many of my pupils  come by recommendation from existing pupils. I have now retired from full-time teaching but would like to keep my private tutoring.

With my teaching experience and exam marking I feel I have something worthwhile to offer.
