When a student looks at past papers or sits in the exam room they often forget one simple fact. The people who set the exams and those who mark them are all teachers who like students, love their subject and want the candidate to pass! There are no trick questions, the examiner wants you to score the marks. They are telling you everything you need to know to get started and that, coupled with what you have been taught, is enough. If you have learned the work properly you should succeed. There is no substitute or short cut: facts must be learned, techniques practised and if you show the examiner what you know they will do their very best to give you the marks. If you waffle or try to wing it, they will not. Keep a clear head, check your answers and if you get stuck, close your eyes and imagine your teacher or tutor doing the topic, and quite often that will jog your memory.
Good luck!
