A-level Maths

Learning can be a quite unique experience: for some it is full of joy, fun and excitement. For others it is plain suffering, full of boredom, stress and fear of failure. How can we cope and handle a good learning process?

The secret in becoming a good pupil starts with our own understanding of ourselves, and the reasons for our behaviour. It is important, as an initial step, to try understanding the way we FEEL towards the learning process. Are we excited to learn new things? Are we getting bored by learning a subject which doesn’t interest, or doesn’t appear to interest us at all?  Or maybe we are very much interested in the subject, but the process of learning itself, and the examinations often related to it, intimidate us?

Those feelings affect our behaviours and attitudes toward the learning process, and acknowledging and understanding them is the first step in realising how to become an excellent pupil.
