A-level Maths

Maths and Physics are languages of the nature. They describe the world in a similar way as Music or Literature, but only with numbers, symbols rather than notes or letters. Students often find Maths/Physics difficult to understand simply because they don't know how to spark their interest in those scientific subjects.

So my approach is to understand their personal interests (eg. Music, games) and proceed with them to Maths/Physics. I go through topics from the very fundamental to the advanced. And I can constantly make comparisons between Maths/Physics and their personal interests.

This helps them to gain confidence as soon as they realise Maths/Physics is not much different from the things that they are really interested in and good at.
