Private tutors are able to focus their attention entirely upon an individual student, tailoring the learning experience so that the gaps in understanding are identified and explained. If explained properly then the student will be able to attempt questions which they previously found too difficult. For example, maths and physics cannot be learnt only by reading how to solve problems, but by thinking how to solve new problems and progressing to more complex areas.
