A-level Physics

Most AS and A2 courses offered by examination boards have accompanying textbooks written by teams of experienced teachers, examiners and subject experts.  It is prudent to have access to these.

Revision guides may also be available: CGP offer same for both AS and A2 physics and other courses as well as GCSE.

The more motivated and / or able student may wish to consider the International Edition of "Physics" by Douglas Giancoli (published by Pearson).  This text embraces most aspects of all AS and A2 work whilst stretching the interested reader to higher level work and relating to modern developments.   There are numerous coloured illustrations, worked examples and exercises at different levels of difficulty.  An accompanying study guide with accompanying solutions is also available, written by Joseph Boyle.
