A-level Physics

Learning is one of life's biggest joys in my opinion.  No matter how old, wise and experienced one becomes, there are always new fascinating encounters to have.  This is what motivates me as a teacher.

When I was growing up I had a teacher who was a professional maths tutor.  We would start off discussing some interesting mathematical concepts, practise some sums and before too long we would be discussing the wider philosophical implications and how they have been applied in the world.  Often the conversation would lead to music, which I was nurturing a growing passion for.  I found this holistic approach to maths really inspired me and motivated me to do the unexciting practice which any study involves.  I believe most people can benefit from this approach.
