Are you overloaded with formulas and equations for A-level Maths? Don't know how to remember them and which ones are given in the formula book? Well here's a way to organise all your work and help you learn it in the process!
Why not go through your notes from class and on an A4 piece of paper write down all the equations for differentiation and integration, along with any other formulas you may need to know like the double angle formula. Cross off the ones you get given in the formula book as you will not need to memorise these for the exam. The others, write seperately on post-it notes and stick them around your room. From time to time take a look at them and after a while you will see that they are sticking in your mind! Try re-writing them on a seperate piece of paper to see which ones you can remember, and those that you can't make sure to spend more time looking at them.
Once you think you know all the relevant formulas and equations, take out practice papers and do the questions that involve those formulae/equations. Check your answer to see if you've got it right. Keep doing the practice questions as this will help instill the equations into your head!
Good Luck!
