Cello

The cello is a very unique and special instrument. It has to power to invoke very strong and real emotions through its human voice like quality. It is therefore no surprise that the cello not only attracts children but also adults.

I am frequently asked by students who take up the cello later in life if they are too old to learn and my answer to this is always an emphatic no! Everyone is capable of expressing themselves through this incredible instrument and with consistent practice and effort people of all ages can enjoy the power of music making.

About The Author

During my time as a teacher I have learnt to adapt my teaching style to meet the specific needs of the pupil. I believe that everyone is capable of learning regardless of age or previous musical experience and I am equally comfortable tutoring absolute beginners or those with advanced skills. I teach the majority of my pupils on a one to one basis but also have experience teaching small groups.
