Cello

One of my students' dad told me that my student was trying to give up for the music lesson one year ago, because her teacher in France was so strict to her.

For my teaching philosophy, only those who don't know the right way to teach, they will shout or yell to their students. Yes, you have to be strict to your students, however, you still have to give her confident and interests. (Of course, it’s no need to say the toadyish words all the time)

Being a good teacher is actually hard. There’s a phrase that I always follow: "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude". The different teaching materials are necessary. (E.g. Sight Reading game; the most easy way to recognize the notes on the staff, listening game, et cetera.)

Keep the lesson interesting and easy-to-understand are really important to me.
