My Classical Career

I started my professional singing career as a cadet and then principal soloist with the Welsh National Opera, performing major solo roles in their opera productions, but also as a soloist for special recording projects including Handel's Messiah with the Huddersfield Choral Society and Malcolm Sargeant. Since my return to singing after family etc., I continued to broaden my repertoire, adding many sacred arias and becoming an expert in Lieder, especially Schubert, but also Woolf, Spohr and others.

I regularly perform these works in my solo concerts and use this knowledge to help my students to embrace the classics as well as more popular works.
