Classical Singing

When artists perform it is often said that they only give 60% of their potential. However, we often give our best performances when in the practice room or vocal lesson. Therefore, how do we achieve our best in performance and what is it that distracts us during our performances?.........

There are two books which have really helped with my own singing and teaching and they are "The inner game of Music" by Barry Green & Timothy Gallway and "Performance strategies for Musicians" by David Buswell. They deal with the process of performing and use techniques like NLP to help focus the mind and body before and during performance.
