Classical Singing

I recommend The Inner Game of Music by Barry Green.

This book analyses the way musicians practise. It talks about how to stop yourself from feeling so self conscious and how to start enjoying performance more. It gives many musical exercises to enable you to achieve this. It is applicable to any musician and is an incredibly interesting read!

The author breaks down the way we function in every day life into "2 selves". One self is where we are conscious of what people think about us and the other is our inhibited self.

The many practical exercises given in this book to put his theory into practice are great! Any musician will love this book.
