English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

Did you know that the BBC website has a wealth of resources to help you with your language learning?

From the news in your own language to articles, quizzes and games designed to help you learn another language, there's something to suit most learning styles - there's even help with English pronunciation and slang.

As a teacher, I have often made use of the material on the BBC website as a starting point to help me to build a lesson - it's topical, relevant and fun and the audio files and articles are designed for learners.

And as a language learner/improver, I love testing myself by taking the quizzes on the French, German and Italian sites.  Why don't you have a look?
