What can I say? It's such a challenge that you end the day, sup your pint ( or possibly two ! ), and think 'Phew, what a day that was!' It requires constant invention, imagination and let's be fair a little madness. For instance, I need to draw, act, mime, occasionally play the fool, yet still keep abreast of my adjectives....those damn adjectives. One student - who I shall not mention - started the year barely uttering a word, yet by July was nattering away like a regular little fishwife. When you see someone blossom - be they child or adult - it is pretty heartwarming. But, hell, let me not get too soft for I'm a lifelong Wednesdayite when all is said and done. If you're unsure as to what a Wednesdayite is, look under 'misery' , 'depression' or 'lunacy'. When Sheffield Wednesday is concerned you'll discover an array of expletives to pair with many a colourful adjective.
