To learn English, you need to work hard and practise, practise, practise!

The perfectionist will naturally work hard to perfect the language, but in general - they speak much less until they are a high level.  A perfectionist must let go of their pride and their aim to be perfect and just go for it.  They need to try it out, laugh at themselves if they make mistakes (even though inside they are wanting to cry), and just pick themselves up and try again.  The best way to learn a language is to speak as much as you can.  The perfectionist will get there - because they will keep going until they succeed.  However, the perfectionist gives themselves unnecessary headaches because they get so stressed about making mistakes.  Making mistakes is an unavoidable part of language learning.

If you are getting stressed with your language learning, stop worrying about the mistakes for a while and just enjoy speaking.  If you are being understood, you are more than half way there!

Good luck!
