English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

Some would say I am lucky to have English as my mother tongue because it is understood all over the world.  However, I have always been in awe and slightly envious of people in other countries who end up being at least bilingual if not tri- or quadri- lingual.

I am happy that I am now bilingual; there is nothing more satisfying for me than conversing with someone in their own language.

I think we often lose sight of this when we learn a new language.  At the end of the day language isn’t really about grammar and vocabulary but about enjoying communicating and sharing ideas with others.
