Here are some good tips for students finding it difficult to read music:

  • Try photocopying the music onto A3 paper - the larger print may make it easier to read
  • Use highlighters to pick out specific sections or intervals within the music - sometimes music notes are more easily deciphered when on colour.
  • Photocopy the music onto coloured paper. You can experiment with different colours and see if allow the music to be read more easily.
