Flute

Flute is a very colourful instrument. You can make so many different sounds by using more or less air, pressure, angle of blowing, using your voice and at the same time blowing in the flute. Flute is a perfect instrument also for the beatboxing. You can find a videoclips showing you how amazing it can sound. The flute is also similar to a human voice and at the same time it is one of the fastest instruments, which makes it one of the top solo instruments (along with violin and cello).

Another interesting thing about the flute is that it is the only woodwind instrument that does not use reeds and the player feels the flute headjoint only with lower lip (the uper lip is not touching the instrument). So, we can say it is something unusual or even magical happening there. Maybe that's why it has been said that the gods played this instrument (Pan, Krishna,etc.).

The flute is a perfect classical and non-classical instrument. It sounds amazing if you listen to classical music or to Indian, jazz, rock, pop, blues, funk (etc.) music that uses flute as a primary instrument.
