French

The most rewarding feeling we can have in life is confidence in our own abilities. But how do we get more confident?

Lack of confidence strikes at any time and at any age. Accomplishment is the answer. Assessing the needs first, then meeting the needs and finally practising. The practice of a skill needs to be constant and at the same time enjoyable.

If you learn French you need to live and breathe it every day. You can watch the news for 5mns, listen to the radio or to your favourite group on a cd, watch a film, a clip from youtube, or record yourself. You can go online to check newspapers, recipes, blogs, football matches results, the weather, etc - the possibilities are endless.

Also you can test your knowledge and you could try the website zut.org.uk which is free from 4pm and covers year 3 to 13. It is full of fun exercises and follows the curriculum.

Enjoy learning!
