I would like to share with you the most important thing I learnt from my training to be a teacher in Foreign Languages.

You will find a lot of advice on how to learn, and even on how you learn best.

I believe, however, that the most efficient way to learn a language is to quickly speak about things that are the most important for you. This way you will try and speak with your heart, which will keep you the most natural. Doing so, you will find that searching for a way to communicate in the foreign language will not be in vain, as every of your efforts will engrave the new knowledge forever in your memory. That's where the tutor comes in, since it is so difficult sometimes to face new challenges whilst keeping things simple enough.

So, if you are lucky to have a tutor, you need to try and speak to him/her in the target language all the time. Is it possible? YES! As long as you are not afraid of mistakes and are given time to hear the corrections. If your tutor is skilled enough, he/ she will make sure they correct you only when it is useful and necessary.
