The usual problem for adult students when learning a foreign language is to practise their speaking skills. I recently found out that there are French speaking groups in all main towns. If you google "French meetup" and then the name of your town, you will probably find one near where you live.
Don't hesistate to join one of those meetup groups. People are very friendly and you will also meet people like yourself, who just want to improve their French speaking skills.
