French

I have always found one of the best ways of learning any language is by watching films. I recommend watching your favourite films with French or German subtitles in the beginning. That way you already know the plot and can concentrate on learning new vocabulary.

The same can be said for reading your favourite book or children's books. If you already know the story well you can focus on learning new words and idiomatic expressions.

My favourite way to learn was by watching Harry Potter in French, I also read the first 2 books in German!
