When you begin GCSE Drama, spend a lot of time listening. Listen carefully to your teacher when they explain the course, concentrate on how much written work there will be, and commit to memory how long it is until your first examination. Many students do not listen at the start of the course and find parts of the ensuing two years a nasty surprise. The other people to listen to are your fellow students. Notice which ones always have ideas that you share and which ones are good team players and leaders. When you get the choice of who to work with you will know who to gravitate towards for success. Listening is also the key to great acting: a good listener will reproduce an accent well which will aid their acting skills.
