GCSE English

Studying English at GCSE can be daunting, but there are several tips that can enhance your chance of success. Firstly, plan your essays to make sure that you do not forget important details later. Next, ensure that you have some key quotes from your GCSE texts, and that you have memorised them. Also, if possible, get someone to test you on your quotes.

When writing creatively you must include several key aspects: imagery to inject life into your writing, wow words like interesting adjectives/adverbs, solid sentence openers, a good range of connectives and ensure that you write in paragraphs. Good luck!
