There have been innumerable controversies around the subject 'tutoring'. Many people believe that school as an institution is self-sufficient and in itself is a complete entity which is able to provide you with the best education. We all know it is a sheer fallacy! This is so because education can never be the best in a class of 25 or 30 pupils! Worst of all, amongst those 30 pupils, maybe half of them have special education needs and the teacher most of the time is managing poor classroom behaviour by trying to include them in the lesson rather than delivering the curriculum. But then what happens to those who genuinely want to get an education and to achieve in the lesson?
This is why one-to-one tuition is most probably a system in itself which is saving thousands of Britons from failing every year. One-to-one tuition provides a flexible structure and each child can easily fit into it with a lot of comfort, ease and confidence.
Lots of students who take tuition rediscover their potential, increase their self-esteem and meet their target grades. There is no magical formula in such an achievement - this is simply because a child learns better when given all the attention and merits and praise. A child also feels free to express thoughts and opinions to a tutor with whom he or she is able to relate to.
Tutoring is an exciting journey for both the tutee and the tutor as ultimately they both reach their goals - a common goal towards achievement in one's learning and teaching.
