Using Word: Basic Tips

Do not press the <Enter> key at the end of each line, only at the end of the paragraph.

 

Press the <Enter> key twice at the end of a paragraph to make a blank line.


Leave one space after each word, and 2 spaces after a full stop.  

 
Whilst typing in text, you may notice that some of the words are underlined in red or green.  This is because spelling and grammar are checked for errors as you type.

 

Red underlining means:                          Spelling Error

 

Green underlining means:                      Grammar or Punctuation Error
