Some years back I was working in an extremely cut-throat industry in the UK. After working my socks off for 22 years I found myself redundant when the company I was working for went broke. I retrained myself and worked part time and studied part time to become knowledgeable enough to become a teacher. It took me several years of working part time for minimum wages and studying in my time off. At that time I also helped my wife to raise our two daughters. They and my wife are my inspirations. I have also been inspired to be open minded and have an inquisitve nature by my three tutors from the OU and the University of Wolverhampton. I owe them all.
