Health and Safety

All businesses are obliged to carry out training, indeed the requirement to train staff is written into most of the main legislation brought in under the umbrella of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (such as the Management regs 1999, the PUWER regs 1998, manual handling regs 1992 etc.)

All employers should ensure training is carried out and refreshed at regular intervals.
