Health and Safety

Risk Assessment is the backbone of modern health and safety management. Without it, any health & safety management system will be fundamentally floored. Many businesses fail to ensure suitable and sufficient risk assessments which do little to identify the hazards and risks, and indeed differentiate between the two and therefore ultimately put their staff, contractors an members of the public at risk.

Employers should ensure that all foreseeable risks are assessed using the HSE '5 steps to risk assessment' and ensure that remedial actions and current control measures are suitable and sufficient, and that everything has been done which is reasonably practicable.
