Jazz Double Bass

Absorbing music and relevant skills naturally is the key to successful study.

As a professional musician and teacher with many years of experience, I recommend studying the roots thoroughly and having fun discovering new things and expressing yourself through the beauty of music language.

Music is fun. When practicing, one should always imagine the entire music piece as a final destination, making it alive and real, believe in it, mean it, rather than just playing/reading the right notes. Just like reading a book, where every chapter is in its right place and takes a reader smoothly and effortlessly through the entire story, music can take a listener on an adveturous and exciting journey too when perfomed well. My teaching approach is focused not only on mastering the skills such as technique, sight-reading etc, but also on the art of understanding the music and delivering the piece to the listener's ears.
