Jazz/ Pop Singing

It had never been my original intention to become a singing teacher. I was a working Soprano soloist of international repute and wide experience, when members of the local choral society, with whom I had become friendly, started asking me to help them with particular pieces they were working on. Suddenly I realised I had a group of regular students and I was enjoying it. Initially it was all classical and sacred music, word of mouth brought approaches from younger, more pop orientated students and I now teach across all genres of singing, performance skills, elocution and assist with voice problems.

My students get individual tuition, which has now helped five to Music College and four into Simon Cowell's boot-camps in the last three years.

To help my students gain real performance experience, we run Students' Concerts in which I perform a little and showcase my more experienced singers. Everyone can have the chance to take part.
