Jazz/ Pop Singing

If you've seen or done warm ups that involve "lip trills" and always thought how stupid they look so have avoided them at all costs, this is a highly effective alternative!

Always start your warm up by humming a 4 or 5 note scale moving up and down your range several times gradually in semi-tones, expanding your higher and lower notes as you go. It warms and stretches your voice perfectly, putting no pressure on your vocal chords at all, providing the perfect foundation to start getting into the rest of your warm up routine.

It's safe, simple and what's more you don't look and feel like a blow fish while you're doing it!!
