Jazz Theory/ Composition

There is a great tendency for guitarists to bypass learning to read music. Learning to read music has so much benefit in the way of theory, technique and opening up your variety as a player that it is not something that should be missed.

"Music Reading for Guitar: The Complete Method" is a great book that I recommend thoroughly to teacher and student alike. It covers reading from the most basic level including sections on time signatures, key signatures, syncopated rhythms and much more all the way through to advanced reading.

The link below is to the book, definitely one to check out!
