I love literature!  Here are some my favourite books for readers in Year 4 or 5:

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins.  She is well known for her Hunger Games series, but I love this book more.  There is a whole series called The Underland Chronicles!

Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull.  Heroes, villains, dragons, fairies, adventure, suspense and humour...what more could you ask for!

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan.  The first book in the Kane Chronicles.  If you liked Percy Jackson and the Olympians by this author, you'll love this series.  The first two books are out so far.

Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley.  A fun twist on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm.  Action, adventure, mystery, suspense and surprises, they are a fun read.
