Do you know that China is a huge country with many different languages spoken in its various parts? Mandarin is the national language. One can understand radio announcements and the news on television channels by knowing Mandarin. But when it comes to interaction with the local people, Mandarin is not as useful as many think it is.
Do you know that China's eight Special Administration Regions and Special Economic Zones are all located in areas where Cantonese, Hokkien (Minnan/Taiwanese), Teochew (Chaozhou) and Shanghainese are spoken? These languages are the main languages in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Fujian, Taiwan and Shanghai where the economy is booming.
I am a native speaker of Mandarin with profound knowledge of southeastern Chinese languages such as Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew. If you wish to learn Mandarin Chinese and also other major local languages in southeastern China, then I am the tutor you are looking for!
