I often find that it is hard to sit down and practice for hours on end.

A good way is to break it up into chunks - scales for 10 minutes, finger exercises for 10 and then pieces at the end.

I always try and structure my practice so that the thing I enjoy most is at the end of my session. That way, if you've done everything else you can really let loose and enjoy!
