Piano

The ability to play an instrument is a wonderful thing - we can enjoy making music for our own pleasure as well as to share music with other people!

For me as a teacher, it is rewarding to share my knowledge with a student, especially one who is passionate about learning and making music, at whichever level he or she is. Someone who is always asking questions will find answers. Sometimes, discoveries are made during lesson time, at other times during practice. There will be instances where progress takes longer than we had hoped, but anything that is worth spending time on requires patience. It is a journey, and my job is to help you as a student to enjoy each step of the way.

I find that each student helps me become a better teacher - to convey a musical idea or a concept clearly to a student is a challenge, since we all think in different ways - and it is a fascinating experience that trains my imagination, and ultimately helps me develop as a musician.
