Learning to play the piano well takes time and effort and having something to aspire to (a pianist you admire or a piece you'd love to play one day) really helps to keep you motivated; practice is much easier when you have a goal in mind. Listening to lots of pianists and attending concerts is really important and even if you can't do this very often you can always find inspiration on the internet!
